Planned before it is cut.

Walk the room

We look at the space, the ceiling, the daylight and how you use the room, then talk through what the lighting needs to do.

STEP 2

Lay it out

Fixture positions, spacing and switching planned on paper, and confirmed with you before a single hole is cut.

STEP 3

Install

Wiring, fixtures, switches and controls installed to code by a Certified Master Electrician.

STEP 4

Dial it in

We set the dimmers, test every switch with you and leave the space clean.

Lighting questions

It depends on ceiling height, room size and what the room is used for. A kitchen where you prepare food needs more light than a bedroom. Rather than guessing at a number, we lay the room out so the light lands where you actually use it, and we go over the plan with you before anything is cut.

Not always. Many older dimmers were built for incandescent bulbs and will cause LEDs to flicker, buzz or fail to dim at the low end. The fix is an LED compatible dimmer matched to the fixtures. We check the pairing rather than assuming it will work.

Yes. That ranges from a simple timer or motion sensor to wall mounted control panels and wireless lighting control across a whole home. We install the switches and the wiring behind them so the system works as one, not as a set of disconnected gadgets.

Both. If you already have a plan from a designer or builder we will install to it. If you do not, we will lay out the fixtures with you, including pot light spacing, accent and track lighting, and switching, so the finished room works the way you want it to.
