What You Get

Life safety, wired and maintained.

A fire alarm system is only useful if every device on it still works, and the devices are the part that quietly ages. Detectors drift, batteries die, strobes fail in places nobody walks. Installation and maintenance belong together, which is why we do both rather than installing and walking away.

  • Fire alarm system installation, panel through to devices
  • Detectors, pull stations, horns and strobes installed and wired
  • Ongoing fire alarm maintenance and device level servicing
  • Emergency lighting install and repair throughout the building
  • Fault finding on existing systems, including inherited installations
  • Work coordinated around occupancy so the building keeps running

The Process

Installed, tested, maintained.

STEP 1

Assess

We review the building, the existing system if there is one, and what the space actually requires.

STEP 2

Install

Panel, wiring and devices installed to code, with the layout planned around how the building is used.

STEP 3

Test

Every device tested rather than sampled, and the results documented.

STEP 4

Maintain

Ongoing servicing so the system stays working long after the install is signed off.

FAQ

Fire alarm questions

Yes, and a lot of our fire alarm work is exactly that. We start by testing the existing system device by device so we know its real condition, rather than assuming the last service record is accurate.

Fire alarm systems require regular inspection and testing, and the interval depends on the system and the building. The practical answer is that devices should be tested on a documented schedule rather than when someone remembers, and we set that schedule with you.

Yes. Emergency lighting install and repair is part of the same life safety scope, including exit signage and battery backed fixtures, and it is checked alongside the alarm system.

In most cases yes. Fire alarm work stages well and much of it can be done outside occupied hours. Where testing will make noise or briefly affect the system, we schedule it with you in advance.
